WHAT IS A DTS?
A DTS (discipleship training school) is a six month program blending classroom learning, small group activities, personal reflection, practical service, and community living.
Most often, the training comes in two parts: lecture phase and outreach phase.
01 / know him
3 months training
passionate and insightful lecturers will bring biblically-based teaching on who God is, who you are, and how to live in your calling. We'll also engage in worship and prayer, 1-on-1 mentorship, group processing, exploration, and outreach across Collingwood. Our emphasis is on personal transformation, not just head knowledge.
02 / make him known
2 months outreach
focuses on answering the call of the Great Commission, activating the knowledge you gained and the gifts you discovered in a cross-cultural context. You and your outreach team will lead various projects that bring the Gospel to people in a way they understand, providing care and justice to the isolated and forgotten
